Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 1:5 caring for adults and geriatrics with all emergency type diagnoses
• Every other weekend requirement with every other holiday availability if needed
• Must submit RTO/block and special scheduling requests upon submission
• Required to float within skillset as needed
• Dress code: Any combination of navy blue and white scrubs
• 24-hour orientation period with up to 5 billable hours for pre-start modules
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted; locals within 75 miles not accepted
• Clinical skills required: IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, emergency care for adult/pediatric patients, stroke and neuro-trauma care, isolation precautions, and triage
• Work with specialized equipment including Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment
• Call off policy allows up to three shifts to be canceled during contract period without charges

The hospital is affiliated with prestigious medical organizations and offers several specialized services with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
