Immediate opening for certified EMT supporting onsite occupational health in a manufacturing setting. EMT role, full-time schedule, onsite at manufacturing facility, ongoing/permanent position; provides first aid, aftercare, medical recordkeeping, workers’ comp support, drug/hearing testing, and coordinates doctor visits/transportation. - EMT License (required)
- Experience in manufacturing occupational health (preferred)
- Proficient with computers/technology
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- CPR certification (preferred)
Full description
- Provide first aid and treat injuries.
- Provide follow up care and monitor aftercare.
- Maintain medical records.
- Review and document updated physician ordered restrictions for occupational injuries.
- Maintain workers compensation information for claims.
- Assist in scheduling doctor visits and transportation.
- Conduct drug testing and schedule hearing tests as needed.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
- EMT License required.
- Experience working within a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with technology and computers.
- Certified CPR Training Certificate preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
