The Endocrinology Physician position at Marshfield Medical Center involves providing comprehensive outpatient care for a variety of endocrine disorders including thyroid, diabetes, and metabolic bone diseases. The role includes performing procedures such as ultrasound-guided needle aspiration, continuous glucose monitoring, and teaching residents and medical students. Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a third fellowship-trained Endocrinology physician to join an established department in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This opportunity is 100% Endocrinology and is predominantly an outpatient practice. Opportunity exists due to strong growth and little Endocrinology competition in the region. The nurse line is available for after-hour services as for patient phone calls and Rx renewals.
Opportunity to treat patients with a wide range of cases such as thyroid cancer, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal, metabolic bone disease, and dyslipidemia apart from diabetes and thyroid disorders. Diabetes management on site with Insulin Pump trained educators. Procedures performed are needle aspiration with ultrasound guidance and continuous glucose monitor sensor (CGM) download interpretation. Ability to do FNA, thyroid US, and DXA interpretation if desired by the candidate. Teaching residents and medical students is available. Call is 1:3 supporting a tertiary care center with a very manageable call burden.
Marshfield Clinic can support a variety of visas, including J1 waivers (location dependent) and H1Bs (cap exempt organization).
