Located in northeastern South Carolina near the North Carolina border, Dillon provides a relaxed pace of life, affordable living, and convenient access to larger cities and coastal destinations ideal for providers seeking a welcoming, rural practice setting.

We are seeking a full-time Locum Hospitalist to provide 7-on / 7-off coverage beginning March 31 or April 1. This is a rural hospital setting with a manageable census, onsite call accommodations, and Epic EMR.

• Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

• Rotation: Tuesday Monday

• Orientation: March 30 or March 31

• Call:

  • Alternating 24-hour call every other day/night

  • Call physician handles all ED admissions and floor calls

• Census:

  • Average daily census: 21 patients total

  • 2 hospitalists on at a time

  • Approx. patients per provider per day

• ICU:

  • Open ICU (6 beds)

  • Procedures preferred but not required

  • Hospitalists must read EKGs and perform stress tests

• Support:

  • No APP coverage

  • Onsite call house available

• EMR: Epic

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine

• Active South Carolina Medical License

• Active Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)

• DEA eligible for permanent registration in South Carolina

• $200 $220 per hour
