Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and BLS certification for a daytime hospital assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital radiology department specializing in special procedures
- Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 13-week assignment with 8-hour day shifts
- No on-call duties required
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Training or previous experience in general vascular, coronary angiography, and special procedures is preferred
- Prior experience in catheterization is preferred
- Compliance process requires 100% credentialing before start; no exceptions allowed
- Permanent address must match driver’s license and licensure
- Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before being considered as a traveler
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application
- A badge photo is required upon offer acceptance
- Candidates may be interviewed as part of the prescreen process
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in special procedures
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- License required if applicable
