WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical, Tele Nurse for an ongoing contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Olean, NY.
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
Evaluate and monitor patients' progress.
Identify sudden or subtle changes in medical condition.
Provide regular updates to physicians, patients, and family members.
Initiate treatment and monitor medication dosages.
Accurately maintain and update patient records.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of recent experience on a Neurology floor and with Telemetry.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current New York State Registered Nurse license, or willingness to obtain.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
