General/Transplant Nephrology opening in MALocated in Burlington & Peabody, MA Full-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC General/Transplant Nephrologist to join practice.

• There are over 450 combined patients on our kidney transplant waiting list and in the evaluation process.
• Approximately 50-66 kidney transplants are performed every year, of which approximately 25 are living donor kidney transplants, including enrollment through the National Kidney Registry program (NKR).
• We have excellent outcomes for our donors and recipients.
Responsibilities:
• Pre-transplant clinic evaluations
• Kidney transplant wait list appointments
• Donor evaluations
• Inpatient coverage
• Post-transplant nephrology clinic
• Determining suitability of organs from medically complex deceased donors.
• Managing renal replacement therapy (CRRT, HD and PD) on the inpatient kidney and liver transplant service.
