Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a 30-bed medical telemetry unit in Massachusetts with night shifts and every other weekend required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 30-bed medical telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratios typically 1:5, occasionally up to 1:6 or 1:7
- Cares for adult medical patients, including post-bronchoscopy and chest tube cases
- Required to float to similar units as needed
- 12-hour night shifts (NOC)
- Every other weekend and alternating holiday coverage required
- Participation in care for patients with telemetry needs and various medical acuity
- No on-call responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
