Job DescriptionJoin our interdisciplinary team dedicated to caring for adult and pediatric patients recovering from brain injuries, including those from oncologic surgery, falls, strokes, and motor vehicle injuries. This opportunity is based in a state-of-the-art unit, where you will provide clinical and emotional support to patients and their families as they work towards regaining independence following serious injuries. If you thrive in a team-oriented environment and possess a strong desire to help patients learn new skills, you will find great satisfaction in this role.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients recovering from various brain injuries.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to establish and adjust care plans.
- Offer clinical and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Facilitate the regaining of skills and independence in patients.
- RN License in New York
- Two (2) years of experience in pediatric nursing
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- PALS or PEARS certification
- Recent pediatric experience and telemetry experience required
- ACLS certification (AHA)
