Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Hospitalists to support the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Cetner located at 1 Medical Center Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301. The shift schedule is typically 12-hour shifts, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. Responsibilities- Provide direct inpatient care (95% of time)
- Admit and manage hospitalized patients
- Perform history and physicals, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment
- Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up
- Participate in code and rapid response teams
- Perform procedures (e.g., lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, paracentesis)
- Attend quality improvement meetings
- Complete documentation in VA s EHR (CPRS)
- Report patient safety incidents within 24 hours
- Comply with VA policies on privacy, ethics, and infection control
- Ensure continuous coverage, including during absences
- Provide replacement within 2 hours if a scheduled provider is unavailable
- Maintain a contingency plan for staffing changes
Qualifications- Board Certified in in Internal Medicine
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS
- Must be able to pass a Federal background investigation.
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
