Opportunity Details
A hospital in southeastern Virginia is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide ongoing Cardiothoracic Surgery and ICU locum coverage.
Opportunity Details:
- Schedule: 6:45p-7:45a
- Call Requirement: 1-2 days per week
- Setting: CSICU
- Nightly Volume: 20 patients, 1 admission
- Required Skills: Arterial catheters, venous lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tube placement, endoscopic radial harvest, etc.
- First assist on CABG, valves, heart transplants, aortic dissections, thoracotomies, ECMO, cannulations, and MCS implantations
- ECMO, transplant, and mechanical circulatory device experience preferred
- Support Staff: 5 ICU APPs, 7 OR APPs
- EMR: Epic
- Paid travel & expenses
- Must be board-certified
