Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans across a variety of patient cases, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and data collection to assist radiologists in diagnosis.
- Prepare MRI equipment and environment for scheduled procedures, maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Assist with specialized imaging procedures, including Breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsies, leveraging relevant expertise.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.
- Participate in on-call duties, including 1-2 call shifts weekly and a 1:4 weekend call rotation.
- Follow up on any urgent cases or patient needs during after-hours shifts.
Certifications & Licenses (Required):
- ARRT Certified MRI Technologist (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, MRI Certification)
- State Licensure as an MRI Technologist (if applicable in your state)
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of current MRI technologist experience is required to ensure proficiency with MRI procedures and patient handling.
- Experience with Breast MRI and MRI Biopsy procedures is highly preferred and considered a strong asset.
- Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson PACS electronic health record systems is advantageous, with prior EPIC experience being a plus.
Educational Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Advanced certifications in MRI technology align with industry standards and are strongly preferred.
