Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Amarillo, TX
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00)
Job Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, PTCA, PCI, and stent placements.
Prepare and maintain a sterile field; perform scrub and circulator duties as needed.
Set up and operate specialized cath lab equipment such as IABP and imaging systems.
Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias during procedures.
Ensure proper infection control and sterile techniques throughout all procedures.
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC (required).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Participate in on-call rotation for weeknights (7p–7a) and weekends (7a–7p).
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Proficiency in EPIC EMR within the past 6 months (required).
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and assist with emergent interventions.
Travel experience preferred.
