Schedule: Full Time - 4 shifts (10 hours) per week, 7:00am - 5:30pm with rotating day off and on-call rotation required.

Fauquier Health has 5 Main Operating rooms plus a Cystoscopy Suite. As a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Services Unit, you will take part in the wide variety of services we have to offer, including Total Joint Replacements, Sports Medicine, ENT, General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Retina, and Spine. Fauquier Health is paving the way in advanced surgical procedures by offering minimally invasive robotic surgery with our state-of-the-art daVinci Xi robotic platform.
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:
Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license.
Basic Life Support certification is required within 7 days of hire.
ACLS is required within 30 days of hire.
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
Must have previous OR/Surgical Experience
