Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Glendale, AZ 85306 – Access to Phoenix healthcare jobs, excellent amenities, and beautiful parks.
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880–$2020 per week
• On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility

CVICU RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU nursing experience required
• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered with documentation)
• Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license
• Compliance with all facility background and onboarding requirements
• At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to CVICU patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in the intensive care unit
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
