Opportunity: NP/PA - General Surgery
Job Details:
- Join a busy, established complex surgery team consisting of 5 Advanced Practitioners and 7 Physicians
- Support General Surgeons in the operation room as Surgical Assistant
- Provide pre-op and post-op patient education
- Coordinate diagnostic studies, consultations, procedures, and communications
- Manage post-op care including daily rounds, discharge, patient/family education, and follow-up clinic visits
- Evening and weekend call required
- Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
- Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Provide health care emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention
- Position requires high level of customer service skills
- May be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation
