Responsibilities:The Family Medicine will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions and illnesses
- Emphasizingpreventive medicine and working with patients to promote healthy lifestyles
- Monitoring patients' progress, adjusting medications, and providingeducation on self-management
- Treatingacute illnesses and injuries, such as respiratory infections, minor injuries, and skin conditions
- Conducting routine health check-ups and wellness exams to monitor patients' overall health and identify any potential health issues before they become serious
- Prescribing medications when necessary, ensuring proper dosages and monitoring for any adverse effects
- Providingcare to multiple members of the same family, allowing them to develop long-term relationships and a deep understanding of the family's medical history and needs
- Performing minor surgical procedures in the office, such as suturing wounds, removing moles or skin lesions, and draining abscesses
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for their patients, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results
- Providingmedical consultations and following-up care via video calls or phone calls.
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Family Medicine
