The Catering Events Manager oversees all off-site banquet and catering operations, ensuring flawless event execution and managing event staff. They collaborate closely with event planners and operations managers while maintaining equipment, facilities, and assisting with deliveries. The role requires leadership skills, food and beverage experience, and the ability to operate in fast-paced environments.
We are in search of a Catering Events Manager for an industry-leading Best in Class Catering Company located in Northern IL. The position will be responsible for the execution of all off-site Banquets, Catering, and deliveries while working closely with the Event Operations Manager and ownership
Catering Events Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and plan and direct event operations
- Oversee all off-site banquet service operations
- Work closely with Event Planner to ensure flawless execution of the event
- Overseeing the event staff. Providing strong leadership skills for the event team
- Maintaining all equipment and facilities in an organized, clean, and safe environment
- Assist with warehouse duties, delivering catering orders as needed
Catering Events Manager Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in Banquets, Food & Beverage
- Energetic, fast-paced, and assertive
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player
- Ability to think critically to develop strategies for success
- Thrive in ever-changing & fast-paced environments
