Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
Active or eligible for a Connecticut medical license.
Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat disorders related to the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
Perform diagnostic procedures including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies.
Develop treatment plans and follow up with patients to monitor progress.
Collaborate with other specialists and primary care physicians as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Participate in call coverage on a rotational basis.
