RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel assignment
• Patient ratios: 1:2; 1:1 for higher acuity patients
• 20-bed pediatric intensive care unit located on 3rd floor
• Work with specialized equipment including Philips monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech
• Must have experience with care of respiratory failure (ETT, HFOV)
• Central line maintenance and care experience required
• Preferred experience includes post-operative cardiac care and venous puncture
• Perform typical procedures including conscious sedations and CT placement
• Night shift staffing includes 1 free charge nurse, 9 bedside RNs
• Ideal candidate is flexible, helpful, and humble
• Work alongside experienced staff of 51 team members
