WHAT YOU WILL DO: As an Asset Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all devices meet rigorous standards for security, functionality, and quality, while supporting the efficient triage, provisioning, and inventory management of hardware assets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.) Quality Control
- Ensure all devices comply with established security, functionality, shipping, sanitization, and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing to verify device readiness for deployment
2.) Triage
- Identify and assist in diagnosing both systematic and cosmetic repair needs.
- Route devices to the appropriate teams for resolution, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.
3.) Systematic Provisioning
- Remove prior data from devices and reimage them with the required operating system.
- Ensure all devices meet deployment specifications and are prepared for end-user use
4.)Inventory Management
- Oversee the packaging, kitting, and storage of provisioned devices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure devices are ready for redeployment as needed.
- Oversee the logistics of shipping and return of assets into the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Experience in device quality control, IT asset management, or hardware provisioning preferred.
- Experience in logistics is a must.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to diagnose and triage hardware issues.
- Familiarity with operating system imaging and data sanitization processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
