Interventional Cardiology in NY State Central New York region Teaching facility 70 miles to Albany International Airport (ALB) 80 miles to Binghamton 90 miles to Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) 190 miles to Manhattan Hospital employed practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 cardiac surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians. We have an active coronary interventional program with over 500 interventions yearly, as well as busy EP, structural and open heart programs. It is a teaching program with 2 new cardiology fellows each year. The role will include diagnostic catheterization, coronary interventions, and an outpatient clinical practice. An interest in TEE or coronary CT would be welcomed, as would an interest in starting a PERT program. Interventional call is currently one in three with a goal of 4 full time interventionalist. Our cardiac cath labs have a busy schedule of diagnostic and interventional coronary cases, as well as structural heart disease including percutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR), left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale closure.
