The Pediatric RN provides high-quality care to pediatric and neonatal populations, including patients with complex medical and surgical needs. NICU experience is required due to the acuity and specialized conditions treated on the unit.
Experience RequirementsMinimum 2 years Pediatric/NICU experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Active Maryland RN License
BLS
Minimum 2 years relevant clinical experience
Pediatric Med/Surg with exposure to higher-acuity conditions
Preferred experience:
PCU-level pediatrics
Prematurity
AOP (Apnea of Prematurity)
ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity)
BPD/CLD (Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia / Chronic Lung Disease)
Congenital cardiac defects
Feeding issues
NAS & iatrogenic NAS
Tracheostomy care (Required)
May be required to float to the main campus in Baltimore as needed.
