Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 3-6 shifts per month (flexible based on provider availability)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide emergency medical care in a 3-bay, 6-exam room ER setting

• Manage a variety of acute care needs, including skin infections, toothaches, labor and delivery, chest and abdominal pain, broken bones, sprains, and other ER cases

• Handle approximately 80% urgent care-type cases triaged in the ER

• Work autonomously and make decisions regarding patient care and transfers

• Collaborate with medical-surgical unit and house supervisor for patient management and medication orders

• Adapt to potentially extended length of stays when necessary

• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
