The position is based in the idyllic town of Petersburg, Alaska, known for its rich Norwegian culture, fishing tours, and natural wonders such as the LeConte Glacier and Tongass National Forest. If you enjoy outdoor activities, this location offers ample opportunities for hiking, eagle watching, whale watching, and fishing.Petersburg Medical Center is recognized as a critical access hospital providing a supportive and collaborative atmosphere for healthcare professionals. You will work in an outpatient setting with patients of all ages, including skilled and long-term care patients. The facility ensures a strong team environment with opportunities to engage in diverse patient caseloads that align with your professional goals.Shifts are scheduled as 5 eight-hour days, guaranteeing at least 36 hours weekly, but typically expected to work 40 hours.
