A health services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensed Physician, with an Internal Medicine background, to their growing team in Brooklyn as a Primary Care Physician. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Specialty: Internal Medicine Patient Population: Underserved Adults (Ages 18+) Responsibilities : The Primary Care Physician will: Diagnose and treat a variety of common medical conditions Managechronic conditions, monitorpatients' progress, and adjusttreatment plans as needed to maintain optimal health Educatepatients about their health conditions and help them understand their treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications Conductregular physical examinations to assess a patient's overall health and detect early signs of diseases or health issues Prescribeand managemedications, including monitoring potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans, as needed Treatcommon acute illnesses, injuries, and infections Maintainaccurate and up-to-date electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare providers Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 5+ years of Residency Training experience Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine Federal DEA license Completed U.S. Medical Licensing Examination Fantastic counseling and listening skills Desired Skills: Women's Health background Your privacy is important to us.
