Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT/Rad Technologist with a Washington State license and CT expertise for a variable shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital diagnostic imaging department
- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures including general diagnostic, portable, bedside, and CT exams
- Utilize both radiographic and computed tomography equipment within the department and portable/C-Arm equipment in the hospital and OR
- Variable schedule with shifts: Monday and Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week
- Work closely with other care providers and may be delegated patient care assignments based on census and acuity
- Adhere to all departmental protocols and safety standards
- Role involves interacting with patients and families from diverse backgrounds and conveying exam information clearly
- Responsible for ensuring correct billing and documentation of procedures
- Must maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and performance improvement initiatives as required
- May need to attend in-services and assist in development and review of departmental care and quality protocols
- Scrubs or specific dress code not detailed
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- At least 3 years of imaging experience with CT experience required
- Active Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist license (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (R) registration required
- Ability to operate radiographic, CT, C-Arm, and portable imaging equipment
- Proficiency in correct patient positioning, protocol adherence, and image quality assessment
