As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible within a retail location to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will engage with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and help to deter disruptive behavior within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
