Position Highlights: Schedule: 3 clinic days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. Some infrequent weekend and night call responsibilities. Weekend coverage: approximately 2-3 weekends per year. Night call: 1:10 rotation. Scope of Practice: Mix of 80% hematology and 20% oncology. No internal medicine responsibilities. Focus on adult and geriatric patient care. Setting: Combination of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic services. Estimated 10 patients per day for inpatient care and 15 patients per day in the outpatient clinic. Team Composition: Join a well-established practice with 10 experienced physicians and 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Technology: Utilize the Epic EMR system for streamlined patient management. Requirements: Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology is mandatory. Active Connecticut medical license (IMLC not accepted at this time).
