This position is for a board certified or eligible anesthesiologist to join an independent, physician-led anesthesia practice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, offering a flexible call schedule and a $300,000 signing bonus. The role provides competitive compensation with base salaries ranging from $600,000 to $700,000 depending on employment status, along with comprehensive benefits and flexible workload options. Anesthesiology Cedar Rapids, Iowa Position Highlights: Physician-led hospital Independent anesthesia practice (no CRNA supervision). Favorable Call Schedule: 35 call days annually; 4 call lines (OB, Cardiology, Primary, Secondary). OB call is light ( 700 deliveries/year). All call is from home with a 30-minute response time. Collaborative, physician-led call scheduling. Compensation & Benefits: Million Dollar Earning Potential Sign-On Bonus: $300,000 Base salary: $600,000 (W2) , $700,000 (1099) with flexible FTE options (down to 0.5 FTE). Additional compensation through voluntary extra call and flexible shift structures. Comprehensive Benefits Package: Comprehensive hospital benefits for W-2 employees, including health, retirement, and 10 weeks' paid time off. Qualifications: Degree: MD or DO required. Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Licensure: Eligible for Iowa medical license.
