The MRI Technologist operates and manages MRI imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans, requiring ARRT certification and relevant licensure. The role involves patient care, technical proficiency, and interpretation of imaging needs in a clinical outpatient setting. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
- Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
- IV Credentialed, required.
- Applicable state license, required.
- Additional Skills Required: Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
