Seeking a locum Nurse Practitioner specializing in oncology to provide outpatient cancer care at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston. Responsibilities include staging workup, initiating chemotherapy or immunotherapy, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and performing procedures such as bone marrow biopsies. The role requires board certification or eligibility, ND licensure, DEA registration, and availability for at least three clinic days per week.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
Clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Need coverage at least three days per week (Mon - Wed or Tues - Thurs).
Facility Location: CHI St. Alexius Health Williston/Leonard P. Nelson Cancer Center
Setting: Outpatient medical oncology
Duties: include but are not limited to - complete staging workup. Formulating and initiating chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments in conjunction with Radiation Oncology (on site) and surgical oncology (off site) when appropriate. Collaboration with NPs or PAs. Provide oversight to the clinical aspect of treatment delivery and infusions. Help coordinate patient care across regional health systems when necessary (i.e. Trinity Health, Mayo, U of M)
Days per month:
Required Procedures: bone marrow biopsy experienced preferred but not required.
EMR: Mosaiq/Meditech
Support Staff: excellent and experienced, 2 clinic RNs, 4 infusion RNs and 1 RN navigator. Radiation oncologist, dosimetry, radiation therapy, dietitian, prior authorization specialists, patient advocate, financial assistance coordinator, (scalp cooling, tumor registry)
Credentialing Information:
Timeframe: Dependent upon having ND license and DEA
Requirements: Credentialing packet is sent out to provider, must be returned ASAP to move process forward in timely manner

Patients/day 8-10 patients per clinic day
Types of cases head and neck, prostate, breast cancer, skin cancer, melanoma, lung cancer, lymphomas, liver, colon/rectal cancer, sarcoma, ovarian cancers, testicular, gynecologic, neuroendocrine, bladder, kidney, brain, pancreatic, metastatic disease. Non-malignant hematology
- Board Certification Must be either Board Certified or Board Eligible
- ND License or IMLC - Highly Preferred -will accept non licensed candidates willing to obtain ND license
