Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Holiday obligations required
• On-call duties 11-12 days per month, including approximately every 3rd weekend
• 13-week assignment duration with 24-hour orientation
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Missouri RN license or Compact license required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Cerner charting system experience required
• May float to all competent units within facility
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Operate specialized equipment including Da Vinci surgical systems, electrosurgical units, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Perform scrub duties for cardiovascular, robotic, and thoracic surgeries
• Manage patient care including IV starts, cardiac monitoring, and wound management
• Complete mandatory HealthStream modules pre-start with strict deadline expectations
• At least one reference required for submission
