Job Title: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
(Block scheduling not guaranteed)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-acuity critical care to adult ICU patients across Neuro, Medical, CTICU, Surgical, and Trauma populations
Manage critically ill patients with conditions including stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and major post-operative or trauma cases
Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment including CRRT (Prismaflex or NxStage), IABP, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and targeted temperature management (Arctic Sun)
Deliver comprehensive cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring and interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Float within scope to critical care units as needed (excluding Behavioral Health and ER unless holding)
Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
Prior travel nursing experience required
Proven experience with CRRT and Prismaflex systems
Ability to float across ICU units as required
