Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Job Details:
• Full-time position (1.0 FTE) with Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule• Primarily outpatient practice with occasional inpatient/ED consults• New PMHNP graduates will be considered• Pediatric experience and competence preferred• Conduct health screenings and psychiatric evaluations• Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications• Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings• Collaborate with psychiatrists, seeking consultation when necessary• Refer patients to other providers when necessary• Work within interdisciplinary teams to promote behavioral health services• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills• Work both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals• Provide healthcare to individuals and families with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention• Must have Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field with specialty focus in mental health• Requires certification by a professional organization• State licensure as either a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with Psychiatry Certification of Added Qualifications (CAQ)• Current CPR certification required• National certification in applicable area required• Must complete credentialing process prior to practice
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
