Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level 1 Trauma center and be proficient in Cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist in Cardiovascular surgery cases, including but not limited to Cardiac Robotics, LVAD, and Heart Transplant procedures.
- Support additional surgical disciplines as needed, including General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant surgeries.
- Utilize in-house call rooms when on-call response is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room within the last 3 years.
- At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years.
- Recent travel surgical technologist experience (minimum 1 year).
- MUST be certified with NCCT-TS-C or NBSTSA-CST; no other certifications or uncertified candidates will be accepted.
- Flu and COVID vaccines are required, with exemptions for medical and religious reasons.
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be subject to specific rate adjustments.
