We re seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum coverage for a Level II Trauma Center in Tacoma, Washington.

Position Details:

• Start Date: December 25

• Schedule: 2 weeks per month (ongoing, 6 9 months)

• Setting: Hospital and outpatient clinic

• Duties: 24/7 ER coverage with dedicated PA support; approximately 3 outpatient clinic mornings per week (schedule flexible)

• Required Procedures: Full spectrum of orthopedic cases (excluding complex pelvic)

• EMR: EPIC

• Support: Hospital team and clinic MA

Experience & Requirements:

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery Required

• Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Required

• Minimum 5 years of Level II Trauma experience Required

• Active WA license or IMLC with LOQ Preferred

• BLS and DEA Required (can be obtained prior to start)

• Clean malpractice Highly preferred

Compensation Highlights:

• Hourly: $300/hr

• On-Call: $2700 per 24 hours (includes 4 gratis hours)

• Holiday Call: $4,000

Orthopedic Surgeon with solid trauma experience, comfortable covering a busy Level II Trauma Center, and available for consistent 2-week blocks.
