Rhino Medical is seeking Kansas licensed CRNA available for ongoing coverage at a small hospital in Chanute, KS.

Opportunity Specifics:
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
- Setting: Acute Care Hospital
- Practice: CRNA Only
- Dates: ASAP - ongoing
- Schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
- 7 am – 3 pm Monday through Friday
- Call 3 pm – 7 am
- Number of providers during the day: 3
Cases:
- Endo, OB/GYN, Peds, ENT, General, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Podiatry
- Spinals, Blocks, Epidurals - must be proficient: Yes
Job Description:
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Candidate Requirements:
- Active Kansas License
- Graduate of an accredited program
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
