Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to work locum shifts in Boscobel, Wisconsin (WI) Starting in December 2025 or as soon as credentialed the role offers on going availability and a competitive market rate and benefits.
Primary Care Nurse Practitioner role:

WSPF (Wisconsin Secure Program Facility)- Boscobel, WI 53805
&
PDCI (Prairie Du Chien Correctional Institution)- Prairie du Chien, WI 53821
Dates of coverage: December 2025
Duration: 6 months, with the option to extend
Schedule: Monday-Friday from .
3 days per week at WSPF and 2 days per week at PDCI.
No weekends, No call, No holidays
Procedures/Duties:
Provide Primary Care medicine to inmates
Should be able to see approximately 10 to 12 people a day (subject to fluctuate per facility needs).
Minor procedures a plus.
EMR: Cerner
Required:
WI license, active and unrestricted
BE/BC NP
BLS, DEA
Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience in primary care.
Correctional experience preferred - not required
