- Additional Info: This provider provides psychiatric evaluations and ongoing care for patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral conditions across intake, treatment, and post-inpatient follow-up. Responsibilities include diagnosis using history, exam, and indicated testing; pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment; documentation; referrals; and consultation with primary care, OB/GYN, and dental providers. The role supports integrated behavioral health, collaborates across disciplines, applies health literacy methods, meets productivity targets, participates in meetings, trainings, and quality initiatives, and provides clinical supervision, including medication, chart, and therapy plan reviews for psychiatric NPs and therapists.
