Brief Description: This is a licensed 25 bed CAH with 17 actual beds; They have a full radiology complement except nuclear medicine on site. They have three clinics, 2 provider based/RHC and 1 freestanding clinic. One clinic is attached to the hospital and the other two are within 12 miles from the hospital.

Local Industries/Economy: Agricultural is predominant, school systems, coil craft and hospital are the major employers

Credentialing: 60 days

Schedule: 24-hour shifts

Call: 24/7 call coverage

• ICU Beds: 0

• Acute Beds: 10

• Swing Beds: 7

• SNF Beds:0

• Average Daily Census: 4-6 medical floor

• Avg LOS: 1-3 days

• Acute/Swing 8-10 days

• Average Encounters per day: 6-8 ED

• Rounding: Starts at 8 am with the team which includes social worker/case manager, pharmacist and nursing.

• Swing bed weekly rounding: Once per week to discuss transition of care for the swing bed patients.

Acuity: CHF, Cellulitis, COPD, Gastro

Subspecialty Support: Cardiology, Pulmonology and Infectious Disease via telemedicine

EMR: Thrive software with Trubridge

ER Volume:

Ancillary Services: Lab, Imaging

Experience + Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience practicing autonomously

• Ability to perform all procedures in the Emergency Department and Inpatient Setting

• Active IA License or the ability to obtain
