RN Position Job Notes:

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA, PALS from AHA, TNCC or ATCN
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards
• Demonstrate performance consistent with mission, philosophy and goals of organization
• Must have current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
• Communicate in clear, concise manner appropriate to developmental age of patient
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking required
• Physical demands include heavy lifting to position, push and transfer patients or equipment
• Requires reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching
• Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required
• Exposure to infectious diseases, x-rays, and bloodborne pathogens
