• With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)

• With injection of varices

ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography):

PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) Placement

Esophageal Procedures:

• Esophageal dilatation

• Esophageal manometry

• Esophageal manometry interpretation

Small Bowel Biopsy

Lower GI Endoscopy:

• Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible and Rigid)

• Colonoscopy:

  • With biopsy

  • With excision of polyp

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

Liver Biopsy

Insertion/Management of Sengstaken-Blakemore Tube

Preference for providers comfortable performing a broad range of GI procedures, but these skills are preferred and not required.
