The surgeon will perform a wide range of procedures including laparoscopic, head/neck, chest, breast, obstetric/gynecologic, liver, GI endoscopy, minor orthopedic, and vascular surgeries. Board Certified - Surgery - General
Job Details:
• Provide general surgery services with approximately 3 patient encounters per shift
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures including adult, pediatric, and neonatal cases
• Conduct laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
• Perform head/neck surgery including thyroid procedures
• Handle chest wall/pleural procedures and breast surgeries
• Conduct obstetric and gynecologic surgeries including cesarean sections, D&Cs, and hysterectomies
• Perform liver surgeries and GI endoscopy (upper and lower, including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy)
• Provide minor orthopedic and hand surgery services
• Manage ventilation, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement
• Perform vascular surgeries including aneurysm repairs (thoracic and abdominal), arterial bypass, and AV shunt procedures
• Must maintain active New Mexico medical license
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
