This position features a 7-on/7-off night shift schedule and offers paid travel and expenses in southeastern Virginia.
Medicus has partnered with a hospital in southeastern Virginia with an opportunity for a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 7p-7a, 7 on/7 off
- No call shifts
- Setting: Inpatient, multiple possible locations
- Patient Volume: 20-30 per day or 8-15 per day
- Patient Population: Trauma (spine and cranial), elective spine, elective cranial
- Skills Needed: Drain removal, shunt adjustment, trauma/practice call
- Team: 8 MDs, 9 APPs
- EMR: Epic
- Board-certification required
- Paid travel & expenses
