Rome, New York - Hospitalist JobPosition OverviewSeeking a full-time Hospitalist (MD or DO) to join a well-supported inpatient team in a community-focused hospital. This opportunity offers a balanced patient load, collaborative environment, and strong sub-specialty support.Key Details
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Average Census: 12-15 patients per physician
- Team Volume: 40-50 patients collectively per day
- Setting: Non-trauma designated hospital
- ICU Model: Open ICU with 24/7 intensivist consultation
- On-Call: None
- EMR: Paragon
- Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care
- Perform admissions, daily rounds, and manage codes/rapid responses
- Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation
- Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary hospital staff
- Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in patient care delivery
- Board Status:
- Board Eligible accepted (new graduates welcome)
- Must be Board Certified within 2 years of contract start

- Starting Bonus: $15,000
