Job Details:

• Work in acute care surgical and bariatric unit
• 36/36 or 36/48 schedule options available
• Every other weekend requirement
• Required to float to other units as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Accepts first time travelers
• Med/Surg and Telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS
• Must use Epic charting system
• Required skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, colostomy care, feeding tube management, heparin and insulin administration, isolation precautions, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains, telemetry monitoring, and wound care
• Care for adult patients with various medical and surgical conditions
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online CBLs
• Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty based on census
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Must live 100 miles or more from facility
• Drug test must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
