What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor for and report any security-related hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual circumstances observed during patrols.
- Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed while on duty.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required, providing information and support as needed.
- Uphold the professional standards of Allied Universal while interacting with the public, employees, and/or visitors at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
