Position Title: Production Worker

Wage: $19/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with overtime on Fridays

Don’t miss this Production Worker role for a company in Waterloo, IA. The Production Associate plays a crucial role in the manufacturing and assembly of products. Responsibilities may include operating various hand tools, handling and transferring wood products, and preparing and tracking product paperwork. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Production Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
- Sand, putty, and scrape parts to specifications
- Operate various hand and power tools
- Apply stain by spraying and wiping products as needed
- Load and unload products for processing
- Assemble and box finished products
- Check parts for count, quality, and identification before moving to the next stage of production
- Participate in a team-oriented work environment and maintain quality control standards
- Contribute to meeting the manufacturing schedule

Production Worker Requirements:
- Ability to read and use measurement tools
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions with common sense reasoning
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to or exceeding 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift (8-10 hours)
- Must be able to work in Iowa’s climate conditions, including exposure to heat and cold
- Potential exposure to paint fumes and chemicals
