Job DescriptionThe CVOR Surgical Technologist will provide surgical support in the CVOR while floating to the Main OR as needed. The position requires expertise in heart and lung transplant procedures, with kidney experience preferred.
Responsibilities- Assist in surgical procedures including valve replacement, coronary artery bypass (CABG), TAVR, and dissection.
- Demonstrate proficiency in hybrid room and endovascular procedures such as endovascular AAA and carotid endarterectomy.
- Participate in general surgery and other specialties as needed in the Main OR.
- Handle on-call shifts for weekdays and weekends, adhering to patient care protocols.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of surgical technologist experience in a CVOR setting.
- Active NJ or Compact license is required at the time of submission.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Demonstrated experience in a variety of surgical cases, including vascular and pediatric procedures.
